Katariina Gildi keraamikastuudios tegelen eelkõige unikaaldisaini loomisega.
Elagu keraamika!
Kuulun ka Eesti kunstnike Liitu ja Eesti Keraamikute liitu.
I have graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts, the Department of Ceramics and have enjoyed working as a ceramic artist ever since.
I have designed author’s collections and product specimen for the art and craft company ARS. A piece called “The Head of a Woman”, created in 1986, remains popular to this day.
It has always been important for me to participate in exhibitions both at home and abroad. I have been invited to take part in ceramics symposiums in several countries, the most notable and fascinating of them took place in China.
At the Ceramics Studio of Katariina Guild I am focusing mainly on creating unique designs. I love simple Nordic forms and glazes in shades inspired by nature.
In my creations I use different techniques of lines, brushes and glazes.
Clay is a creation of nature and it is a privilege to co-operate with this grand creator.
Long live ceramics!
I am a member of Estonian Artists' Association and Estonian Ceramics Association.
Olen lõpetanud ERKI(Eesti Kunstiakadeemia) keraamika osakonna ja kogu elu nautinud oma erialal töötamist.
